Projektet omfattar en tvättstugebyggnad i ett plan, med möjlighet att ordna tekniska utrymmen i ett andra plan. Byggnaden sträcker sig längs med Degerbygränd med entré mot den samma. Byggnadens utformas i trä och med omsorg för att främja trygghetsaspekter och tydliga siktlinjer, både utåt samt inne i byggnaden.
