Die armasuisse beschafft im Auftrag vom Bundesamt für Landestopografie swisstopo. Eine der Hauptaufgaben der Landesgeologie von swisstopo ist die geologische Landesaufnahme sowie die Bereitstellung harmonisierter geologischer Grundlagedaten in 3D. Im Rahmen des Programms «Nationales Geologisches Modell (NGM)» wird das Projekt swissJURA3D umgesetzt.
