Helse Nord IKT HF (Northern Norway Health ICT Trust) wants to investigate whether there are solutions in the market that can support management of vulnerabilities. Rapid changes in the digital landscape, combined with a continuous more complex threat landscape, require public sector organisations to maintain clear visibility into vulnerabilities across their systems, networks, and applications. Public digital infrastructure is built on intricate systems and interconnected environments that are constantly exposed to cyber risks. A vulnerability management service enables organisations to identify and assess these environments, detect security weaknesses, optimise remediation efforts, and optimise vulnerability management workflows. Conducting regular efforts to detect vulnerabilities reduces the likelihood of data breaches, service disruptions, and other expensive incidents, while supporting a more proactive and structured approach to information security.
