Das Projekt sieht den Neubau eines 3. Moduls im bestehenden Umschlagbahnhof Kornwestheim vor. Im Zuge der Baumaßnahmen wird auch ein Rangierstellwerk errichtet, welches in einem Modulgebäude untergebracht ist.
