Various studies and measurements show that shooting on indoor ranges or in poorly ventilated rooms and environments can lead to a marked increase in gas exposure. Training shooters on indoor ranges is urgent because it provides the necessary conditions to acquire and retain skills at an intensive level. It is essential that, ahead of the eventual permanent solution in 2030, an industry‑wide, technically defensible interim measure is adopted that noticeably reduces the gas load for the shooter.
