Das Fraunhofer IIS besitzt eine Simulationsumgebung auf Basis von Keysight PathWave Advanced Design System (ADS) und System Design (SystemVue), um Kommunikationssysteme und deren Teilkomponenten effizient simulieren zu können. Dafür sind regelmäßig Wartungskosten zu entrichten. Die Simulationsumgebung dient als Basis für vielfältige Forschungsprojekte.
