Nederland – Mobiele containers voor bijzondere doeleinden – Market consultation: Modular Breaching Containers

The Dutch Ministry of Defense has a need for Modular Breaching Containers (MBC). These containers will be used by the Engineers to practice various breaching drills in various scenario’s. The MBC needs to consist of a 20ft container with the possibility to install a 10ft container on top of the 20ft container to be able to practice breaching on the 1st floor or via roof entry. The Dutch Ministry of Defense is looking for the MBC combined with user training on how to operate the MBC properly, as well as maintenance and spare parts for the MBC during its lifespan. Furthermore the Dutch Ministry of Defense is looking for a stand-alone configuration so that the Engineers can set these MBC up anywhere in the world to practice. In order to be stand-alone the Dutch Ministry of Defense envisions a generator installed in a 10ft container. This container will serve as storage for the spare parts such as doors, windows, nuts and bolts, etc. as well as the protection for the generator. The complete stand-alone configuration would consist of 1x 20ft container (ground level), 1x 10ft container (1st floor/roof), 1x 10ft container with generator and spareparts.
