Amsterdam UMC wil CT-beeldvorming in het Amsterdam UMC verbeteren door middel van de photon counting detector technologie. Deze detector technologie biedt bewezen voordelen in beeldvorming ten opzichte van de huidige energy integrating detector technologie, waaronder hogere resolutie, betere dosis efficiëntie en intrinsieke spectrale informatie. Voor het Amsterdam UMC is het van cruciaal belang om mee te kunnen gaan met de hoogste standaard van CT-beeldvorming. 6
