Denmark – Repair and maintenance services of military aircrafts, missiles and spacecrafts – Maintenance agreement for MQ-9B SeaGuardian

The Danish Ministry of Defence Acquisition and Logistics Organisation (DALO) wishes to engage in market dialogue regarding an agreement for maintenance of the MQ-9B SeaGuardian by OEM General Atomics for the Danish Armed Forces. This RFI is intended to gather insights into maintenance concepts, service capabilities, and candidates for a potential competitive procedure. Due to national security, DALO has assessed that it is necessary to have maintenance of the MQ-9B performed in Denmark in order to ensure security of supply. Therefore, candidates, who wish to undertake maintenance of the MQ-9B, must be willing to establish operations in Denmark. Furthermore, the candidate must be willing to employ Danish nationals (citizens holding Danish citizenship in accordance to the Danish Citizenship Act) in order for Denmark to secure and maintain the necessary knowledge and capabilities related to maintenance of the MQ-9B. DALO therefore encourages candidates to respond to this RFI, if an agreement for maintenance of the MQ9B, where operations are based in Denmark and Danish nationals are employed, is of interest. In continuation of this RFI, DALO might arrange meetings with or contact candidates for further information, if relevant. Depending on the responses DALO receives, DALO will decide whether a competitive procedure will be held for this agreement.
