Norway – IT services: consulting, software development, Internet and support – Market survey Cloud based platform and infrastructure services for the Health regions in Norway

The pending procurement(s) includes agreements for access to public cloud platform services (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS and other XaaS/cloud based service models, as well as the cloud services provider's marketplace services) that shall support the health regions' long-term needs. The needs picture includes both common inter-regional needs and region specific needs connected to safe and controlled use of the general cloud, hybrid architecture and operation, modernisation, competence building, cost control, innovation capability and clear role and liability division. Examples of cloud platform services included in the agreements (not exhaustive list): •Running environment (Compute services) •Storage and database services - structured, unstructured and managed data storage services. Network and network security services Hybrid cloud connection and multi-cloud control •Backup, disaster recovery and business continuity •Security, access management and monitoring services. •Key handling and encryption services Pseudonymisation and anonymisation of health data. Data analysis and big data. •Artificial intelligence (KI) and machine learning •Containerisation and orchestration. •Serverless computing and event driven architecture •Message queues and event streaming •Integration and API administration DevSecOps and automation of infrastructure (IaC) •Tool for operation, management and development. •Virtual desk and work place infrastructure (VDI/DaaS) •FinOps-toolIn addition, the accompanying services are included for cloud consultancy and delivery support. How this shall be dealt with in relation to contracts on cloud platform services and any resellers thereof, is subject to clarification through this dialogue.
