Norway – Laboratory, optical and precision equipments (excl. glasses) – Notice of Intent: Instrumentation for Allergy and Autoantibody Analyses Including Instrument‑Dependent Consumables for Sørlandet Hospital Trust

Sørlandet Hospital Trust in Kristiansand intends to procure instrumentation for allergy and autoimmunity analyses and plans to enter into an agreement with Thermo Fisher Diagnostics AS. Following the completion of a market dialogue, the Contracting Authority is of the opinion that there is only one supplier capable of providing a consolidated solution that covers the current analysis repertoire for both allergy and autoimmunity analyses. A consolidated analytical system provides the best solution for resource utilisation in terms of personnel, workflow, sample collection, and handling. The procurement also includes the establishment of a framework agreement for the purchase of equipment-specific reagents and consumables for allergy and autoimmunity analyses. The procurement is being carried out as a direct award without competition, as competition is impossible for technical reasons, cf. Regulation of 12 August 2016 No. 974 on Norwegian Public Procurement Regulations (FOA) § 13‑4 letter b, item 2. Contract signing will take place no earlier than 10 days after the publication of this notice of intent.
