The Doctoral Education (DE) programme at TU Delft supports every PhD candidate at this university in becoming a responsible, independent researcher with a relevant set of competences for a career within and beyond academia. Anchored in a coherent competence framework, it enables candidates to shape their learning in purposeful and coherent ways that directly contribute to their growth as researchers. The programme combines shared baseline requirements with room for individual focus, ensuring both consistent quality and personalized development.
