Malta – Social work and related services – Negotiated Procedure for the Provision of psychology and psychotherapy services in the community

The scope of the services is: • To support individuals to focus on their mental wellbeing and self-care, the building of resilience and making positive lifestyle changes. This will be done through the provision of Educational Talks / Workshops. • Provide access to therapy and support as required. Offer a holistic package of care tailored to clients’ needs, with an intake team of psychology officers and psychotherapists available on site 12 hours a day, to carry out intake assessments and attend to any unplanned emergency situations. • Provide an outreach service for individuals who are temporarily unable to attend their scheduled therapy or clinical appointments in person. This service enables trained professionals to meet clients within the community.
