Ireland – Programming services of application software – 2516 - Provision of a Delivery Location App for Mobile Device/s

This is a call to competition by AN POST for the Provision of a Delivery Location Application for Mobile Device/s and associated/related services to support same for An Post (the “Contract”). The application must guide users through predefined delivery sequences and provide real-time visibility of route progression, including location, direction, and distance to the next delivery point. The solution will support operational efficiency, complement and enhance postal operative effectiveness via integration with static routing data, and enable future adaptability through integration with dynamic routing data. The solution must deliver robust capabilities including but not limited to the following areas: Compatible with An Post’s Android scanning devices or equivalent, scalable and supportive of health and safety features, including audio prompts. This initiative aims to modernize training practices, reduce duplication of effort, and future-proof delivery operations. The Contract, the subject of this competition is a Contract Agreement for three (3) years with an option for one or more extensions up to a maximum of five (5) years at AN POST’s discretion, up to a maximum duration of eight (8) years subject to the terms and conditions of the Contract.
