The framework agreement for engineering services will be to support Gas Network Ireland’s growth agenda, price control(s) and decarbonisation agenda. The scope is divided out between three (3) sub-sections as detailed below. 6 Engineering Service Providers (ESP’s) are on the framework. Sub-section 1: Refurbishment & New Build Assets (end to end) - CNG, C&I, Biogas, Pipeline Diversions, Landfall Modifications, City Gate Stations Modifications, Network Entry Points, Pressure Restoration and Uprating, Hot Taps & Stopples, Decommissioning, Construction Supervision, PSDP, and telecommunications Infrastructure including new Co-Location sites or modification of existing Co-Location sites. Sub-section 2: Network Modifications, Refurbishment, Reinforcement, New Connections for Tx and Dx (end to end) - Capacity Upgrades, Construction Supervision, Refurbishment, New Towns, Reinforcement, High Volume Programmes, ATEX, C&I, New AGI's, Surveys, Specification development, Construction Supervision, PSDP, and telecommunications Infrastructure including new Co-Location sites or modification of existing Co-Location sites. Sub-section 3: Design & Estimation of New Connection Projects & Mains Alteration Projects – Design and Estimation of all New Connection Projects & Mains Alteration Projects for both DX & TX Networks including but not limited to the following GNI Project Categories: Residential (DR), Large scale Industrial (DL), Industrial (DI), Small scale Commercial (DC), Feeder Mains (FM), Main Extensions (ME), Non-Gas Estates (NGE), Mains Alterations (MA), Compressed Natural Gas (CNG), Bio-methane Projects, Innovation Projects, Design Services, PSDP & Infill Projects.
