Finland – Laboratory, optical and precision equipments (excl. glasses) – Automated ballistics identification system

National Bureau of Investigation is preparing a public procurement procedure and the object of this procurement is an automated ballistics identification system which enables collect and store images of firearm cartridge cases and bullets, perform automatic correlations, analyze correlation results and compare images. In addition, the acquisition includes on-site installation and training for system users as well as technical support services remotely and on-site. GENERAL Please note that this is a preliminary notice and we are not yet requesting tenders. REGISTRATION Companies interested in the procurement are requested to submit their contact information by email by June 15, 2026, to email address sopimusasiat.krp@poliisi.fi and to write the subject line of an email "Automated ballistics identification system". The personal data of registered participants will be used only for communications related to this procurement. Personal data will be retained only for the duration of the preparation of the procurement in question and any related procurement procedure. MARKET SURVEY The contracting authority may send draft materials related to the procurement to companies that have registered for the market dialogue. According to the preliminary plan, one or two rounds of market dialogue will be held during July and August. Participants in the market dialogue will not receive compensation for their participation.
